February Photography Challenge – Days 1 – 7

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog, or a warm welcome if you’re new here 🙂

I apologize for my missed posts last week! I have had a huge truckload of homework recently, and didn’t find the time to compile this post. However, it’s currently in-service week, so I’ve had plenty of time to get my posts written and scheduled for the next few weeks.

For today’s post, I’m going to be sharing the images from the first week of the February Photography Challenge I’m taking part in. If you didn’t see my previous post, I talked all about the challenge here.

Please bear in mind these photos have all been taken with my phone camera, throughout my daily routines. I haven’t always had the time to stop and get the exact shot, so thank you for understanding if they’re not perfect. That’s part of the fun, anyways!

Without any further rambling, let me introduce to you my photos from the first seven days of February!

Day 1 – Holiday

The inspiration for this first picture came from leftover Christmas stuff around my house! (PS – not sponsored by either Paperchase or Starbucks – just had these items lying around and thought they looked pretty XD)

Day 2 – Work

Work… Boring 😴 This is a shot of all my school books, binders, and previous papers from years before.

Day 3 – Everyday

A side angle of one of the shelves in my bookcase. Something I treasure and use every single day ❤️

Day 4 – Colour

One of my favourite pics. I love the vibrancy of the image 🙂 These pencils are so tiny! Smaller than a toothpick.

Day 5 – Monday Blues

Mondays. Are. The. Worst! I had swimming in PE this week, which made my day x10 worse… Drew this just before I left for school. Reflects my bad mood nicely! XD

Day 6 – Nature

This picture was taken from a moving bus on my way to a wind band competition, and suddenly the sun started to set. Of course, the scene was much more beautiful in real life (ignore the disgustingly dusty bus window).

Day 7 – Food

Food. Is. Life. This picture wasn’t too hard to take! I was in a much better mood today than in previous days… but you might have guessed that 🙂

And… that’s all for today’s post! Which photo was your favourite? Tell me in the comments below 🙂

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you’ve enjoyed. I will see you all next week with a new post. Until then, have a great weekend ❤

Tara xx

  2. I love photo challenges! They’re always so much fun 🙂
I really love the side angle of your bookshelf, it’s always cool to mess around with different angles than just straight on 😀
Also, the shot of all the coloring pencils are so beautiful! I love all the colours 😀

  3. Me too! I love seeing how creative people can be with them.
Yeah, it’s cool to play around with angles. I much prefer images to be at an angle that straight on.
Thank you! They are definitely really nice colours! It took me a while to get them in that gradient pattern, though 🙂
    Thank you for reading! xx

  4. Glad to see you back! 🙂
Lovely photos! 😍 I don’t know if I have a favorite; they were all fantastic. ❤ I really loved the books of course! And the happy food. XD And the colored pencils were cool. Smaller than a toothpick? They look much larger than that!
